Great Muscovy Ducks
"We ordered muscovy ducks from J and M Hatchery this year and were very happy with the quality of the ducklings. We lost none in the mail and they were super healthy, grew fast and provided lots of wonderful meat. They were heavier than some other muscovy ducks we had purchased at the same time from a local farmer. I would recommend these to anyone who loves duck meat. Less fat, more meat and delicious. We also kept some back as they are exceptional at insect control and they are not flighty and kind of friendly."

Ducklings fine after long trip
"I just received my order for 15 white muscovy ducklings & am very pleased to see that despite my distant location (northwest WA state) & the warning that some of the ducklings might not survive 2 days of shipping all 16(!) ducklings arrived healthy & hungry. Thank you JM!"

Amazing Ducks
"We raised 15 of these in the fall of 08. They were healthy, fun, friendly, and fast growers. Their processed weights were unbelievable. The quality of the meat was the best I've ever had. We had several people over for both deep fried and rotiserie duck. Even the people who weren't all that fond of duck loved them. Some who liked duck said it was the best they ever had. I can't wait to order my next batch."

Funny little birds!
"I have several breeds of ducks and use them for weed and bug control around the banks of a large pond. The Muscovies I ordered have quickly bacame our favorites! They are so funny to watch around my dog; he quickly discovered he was not the boss. So much personality and as large as my goose already!"

Healthy Ducks
"We raised 25 of these ducks last fall, and all were healthy and thrived on regular poultry feed supplemented with a little grains for fun. These duck love to graze and are friendly and entertaining. If you plan to butcher them for meat, as we did, plan your timing carefully, since after 12-15 weeks, they get a little chewey. These are large birds, with drakes dressing out 7-8 pounds.
The questions we had about starting them were quickly answered by Joel, and we'll use JM Hatchery for all of our waterfowl and meat-bird chicks."
